Modern allopathic medicine is a wonderful thing and has its place, but, that's a big but, it is not good for everything. In fact, it is best at putting a broken body back together, surgery and some of its drugs are good as well, but that's where it ends. It is not good for treating insomnia, upset stomach or digestive problems, allergies, some types of pain, headaches, or even delivering babies, with Europeans doing a better job with home deliveries. Learn something new about how not just treat disease but prevent it too.

Staff of Aesculapius

A bit of trivia for you, the small graphic in the upper right hand side of the simple staff of a sturdy tree branch with a single snake coiled around is the true Staff of Aesculapius, representing Medicine. The image often used to represent medicine, staff with two snakes and wings, is actually the staff associated with the Greek god Hermes, the messenger for the gods, conductor of the dead and protector of merchants and thieves. Oh well, guess its just another thing they got wrong, or did they?
