Definition:
Bandwidth: the transfer of information from our host to your computer. Every time you click on a link and a new page is loaded in your browser, the information contained in that page is sent from the server to you, and you are using bandwidth. This bandwidth is not free. We are charged for the data transfer, and this is part of the normal cost of running a website. When the information from our pages is transferred over a 1-month period, that adds up to a whole lot of bandwidth.

If you own a small website, you are probably not charged for data transfer, because a certain amount of bandwidth is included in web hosting packages. However, when you exceed a bandwidth limit, you are charged for it. The vast majority of small website's never come close to exceeding their limit but, we are not a small site and it is for this reason we ask for your support.
