Homemade V-8 Juice

7 medium-sized carrots
4 large tomatoes
5 stalks celery
1 beet with greens (wash very well, make sure all dirt is gone)
1 bunch spinach
1/4 head fresh red cabbage
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 clove garlic
1/4 sweet red onion
1/4 - 1/3 bunch cilantro or parsley or combination of both
a few Kale leaves (a little goes a long way so not too much)*
Chili pepper and sea salt to taste
*in the spring, use fresh dandelion leaves

Run all the vegetables and greens through a juicer. Stir in salt and pepper to taste. Sit back and enjoy the healthiest homemade V-8 juice you will ever have. It is much better than the store bought version which is pasturized, which destroys most of the nutrients and then there time it sits around before someone buys it. Make your own. Tabasco sauce to taste can be substituted for the chili pepper.
