2 sticks celery
2 tomatoes
1/2 to 1 cucumber, peeled
2 carrots, topped and tailed, chopped into chunks
1 apple, cored, not peeled (preferably Golden Delicious)
1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
Handful of green salad leaves of your choice: dandelion, beet root leaves, spinach, parsley, cilantro etc.

2 Ways to Prepare:
    1. Blend everything into a smoothie. For flavor add: Maggii, soy sauce, sea salt, pepper, hot sauce, or herbs of choice.
    2. Juice the lot. Still the same nutrients without the fiber.

What's in it?
An alternative to the traditional salad on a plate drenched in some dressing. Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, which is important in helping to prevent heart disease and cancer. It is full of potassium, folic acid, vitamin C, beta-carotene, calcium among other micro-nutrients important to health. It makes a great way to get extra vegetables into your diet that is also easy to digest.

In Addition: select a variety of vegetables and greens. Add some Olive Oil or Balsamic Vinegar with herbs to make it more like a salad with a vinaigrette dressing. So many options to select from.
