Banana Bread

1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
3 ripe Bananas, mashed
1 tsp Baking powder, non-aluminum
2 cup Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
4 tsp Sour milk or buttermilk

Cream butter; add sugar and beat well. Add beaten eggs and mashed bananas. Sift flour, salt and baking powder, add alternately with milk and beat until smooth. Pour into greased pan and bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour or until done. Cool well before slicing.
