Lemon Verbena

Latin Name: Aloysia triphylla

A Tender Perennial. Culinary and Medicinal: Strongly scented leaves are used to flavor drinks and to make a wonderfully lemony herbal tea. Lemon Verbena is refreshing and mildly sedative. It soothes bronchial and nasal congestion and eases indigestion and nausea. Dried leaves retain their scent for many years.
