Chamomile German

Botanical Name: Matricaria Recutica
Family: Asteraceae (Compositae)
Blends well with Bergamot, Carrot Seed, Clary Sage, Geranium, Immortelle, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Neroli, Patchouli, Rose Otto, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Yarrow and Ylang Ylang.
Usage: bath; massage; vaporisation; and skin and beauty care.

Chamomile German is also known as Chamomile Blue or Chamomile Matricaria. It is a gentle and soothing oil, suitable for those with delicate and sensitive skin. The blue color is from (cham) azulene which is formed during the distillation of the oil which is excellent for protecting dry skin. . German chamomile is an anti-inflammatory oil with many applications in skin care. This essential is extracted from the flowers by steam distillation. Camomile is well known for its soothing effect on mind and body. Comforting oil during high pollen count. A gentle oil suitable for the young and fragile.
