Bergamot

Botanical Name: Citrus Bergamia
Family: Rutaceae
Warning: This oil is phototoxic and should not be applied to the skin which is to be exposed to sunlight or to a sunbed for 12 hours. Bergamot FCF which is bergaptene free significantly reduces the the photoxicity.
Blends well with: Basil, Chamomile German, Chamomile Roman, Clary Sage, Coriander, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Grapefruit Jasmine, Juniperberry, Lavender, Lemon, Lime, Marjoram, Neroli, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Petitgrain , Rosemary, Rosewood, Rose Otto, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang Extra.

Bergamot, a calming oil, blends well with lavender as bath or massage oil.

An uplifting and refreshing oil with a fresh and invigorating aroma. Used in oily or blemished skin preparations.

Bergamot is used extensively in the fragrance industry found in many toiletries and cologne. It is familiar to many as the flavouring in Earl Grey Tea.
