Nadi:

This comes from Ayurvedic medical practices, about 5,000 years old and greatly influenced Chinese Medicine. A Nadi is known as a "conduit," one of 72,000 or more subtle channels along or through which the life force (prana) circulates, of which the three most important ones are the ida-nadi, pingala-nadi, and sushumna-nadi. These nadis interconnect the chakras.
